The hotel is centrally located in one of the most varied districts in Munich. Schwabing, where art, culture, science and the hustle and bustle of life are united, is the right place for an interesting and eventful stay. Restaurants, bars, nightlife and shops can all be found in the immediate vicinity. The bus station and the metro stop (at the university) are both about 100 m away. The train station is approximately 2 km away, while Munich Airport is some 34 km away.
This city hotel was renovated in 2008. It has 33 rooms in total, including 14 single rooms and 19 double/twin rooms, spread across 5 floors. Amenities include air conditioning, a lobby, hotel safe, lift access, a breakfast room, WLAN Internet access and a laundry service. There is also a bicycle hire service. A parking garage is provided for guests arriving by car (parking fees apply).
The hotel offers comfortable rooms with a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. They each come with an en suite bathroom with bath or shower. A hairdryer, cable TV, complimentary Internet access, safe, radio, direct dial telephone and fax connection also feature. Air conditioning and individually regulated heating are also provided.
The hotel has a sauna, steam rooms and a solarium.
Breakfast is served as a buffet.
From the A9 motorway: Upon reaching the end of the motorway in Munich, follow the Mittlerer Ring road. After about 200 m, turn right onto Ungererstraße. Do not take the underpass. Follow Ungererstraße, which crosses Leopoldstraße after about 1.5 km. Turn left there, and follow Leopoldstraße for about 1.5 km into the city centre. After the university buildings (with two water fountains out front), the Ludwigskirche church can be seen on the left-hand side. Take a right there onto Schellingstraße. After 100 m, the hotel can be seen on the left-hand side.
