How to get there
By car: coming from north, west and east: you take motorway A 3 Nürnberg - Regensburg direction Passau to the exit Hengersberg (after Deggendorf) coming from south you take motorway A 92 direction Deggendorf to exit Hengersberg. Fom here you take B 85 to Grafenau
and to Bad Griesbach. By train: from north-, west- and east germany via Nürnberg, Regensburg, Plattling to Zwiesel. From here you can make train-connection from monday to friday, saturday and sunday you have bus-connction to Bad Griesbach. From south-germany
via Munich, Landshut, Plattling, Zwiesel and from there like from north-germany. By airplane: the nearest airport is in Munich.
Location
The lovely town in the heart of Lower-Bayern (28 km away from the 3-river town Passau) enjoys a unique position in the middle of the Rottal (8571 inhabitants). Bad Griesbach is a stately approved cure-village in the 'Oberpfälzer Wald' in pure nature.
