Nuremberg is a city in Bavaria, Germany, with over 500,000 inhabitants, the second largest city in Bavaria. English name of the city is "Nuremberg." Together with the cities of Fürth, Erlangen and Schwabach form economic and cultural center of Franconia.
The city of Nuremberg is situated on both sides of the river Pegnitz a length of 14 km, the river which springs from 80 km north-east of town. The portion of the old town, the river Pegnitz was quite focused. Pegnitz river silt produced (which is named after
the first village in which creeps, city Pegnitz) in the north and north-west of Nuremberg has turned this area into an agricultural area called Knoblauchsland (country / region garlic).
