They are in good condition although basic but are clean and the bathrooms are in good condition. Most rooms also have small balcony. The restaurant serves traditional regional cuisine and much produce from the local area is often used. The dinning area is again traditional and comprises of wooden seats and wall panelling traditional of the area but providing a cosy atmosphere. There is also a sun terrace and a large beer garden area that can be used in the summer allowing for a true mountain dining experience. The building was first built in 1313 however there have been structural changes since this time but many in keeping with the traditional exterior of a Black Forest property. The exterior is light in colour and features dark wood paneling.
