Dresden is a city in Germany, capital of Saxony (Sachsen Freistaates) and is situated on the Elbe river valley in the nearby Czech border.
The city has a long tradition as the capital of the province and the royal residence for the kings of Saxony, who for centuries have enriched the cultural heritage and artistic acestuia.
