Dortmund is 8th in the ranking of the largest cities in Germany. The city is crossed by the Ruhr and Emscher rivers, but also by the Dortmund-Ems canal on which is the largest canal port in Europe. It is a city renowned for its sports, traditions in music and theater. The city has an airport 9km from the center, a central station and a port all intensely circulated and of great importance for the city's economy.

The Natural History Museum - a collection of exhibits from the field of biology, geology and paleontology.
The U-tower in Dortmund was built between 1926-1927, being part of a larger complex that belonged to the Dortmund Brewery, the largest brewery in this city for many years. The U-sea consists of 4 girls located in a cube.
