Stuttgart is the capital of the German Land Baden-Württemberg. With over 590,000 inhabitants, is the largest provincial city. Germany is the sixth city in size, and "Region Stuttgart" is the fourth conurbation in the country. It is divided into 23 districts
(Bad Cannstatt, Möhringen, Stammheim, Feuerbach, etc..). Stuttgart is to say Schwabenmetropole (metropolis Swabians), a reference to the Swabian dialect spoken by the locals. In this dialect, the name is pronounced Schturget or Schtuagerd city.
Located in the heart of southwestern Stuttgart region, near the Black Forest Mountains, from which it springs, along the Danube and the Neckar River, which traverses the city.
