Hanover (German: Hannover) is situated on the river Leinen and is the capital of the federal Lower Saxony, Germany.
With a population of 522,944 (2007) inhabitants, is an important city in northern Germany, known as host of important annual trade exhibitions such as the Hannover Fair and CeBIT. Every year Hanover hosts Hannover Schützenfest, practice different shooting sports
festival and Oktoberfest Hannover (the second magnitude in the world).
Hanover has a significant regional importance, due to its universities and faculty of medicine, and zoo huge international airport.
